I Heart Jupiter
Lampwork glass focal bead, lentil shaped, front and back. A pure joy to make, down to the stormy heart.  The little swirls took a lifetime to make, but I got to imagine I was on Jupiter the whole time..

Spring Glass Beads
Ready to make a fleet of these peachy hollow beads. The green/hot pink bubble beads are destined to become some ostentatious earrings.

Peach Glass Earrings
Trying out some new colors, and I fell deeply in love with this peach + silver glass combo. It makes me want a sparkling glass of rosé. Is it really spring yet?

Your insects and beetles are amazing!  I'm sure you're familiar with Wesley Flemming, but if not, you should check him out, you'd really enjoy his works.

Thanks! I do know of Wes Flemming, and his work is incredible! I took classes on how to sculpt glass insects from Michael Mangiafico, another glass insect genius, and I could not recommend him enough.

Wow, Erin -- you have a wonderful collection.  I see a lot of similar imagery in your works and my own.  Insects, Egyptian symbols, Native American imagery, nature, and more.  Keep up the great work!

Thank you. I had a nice time going through your gallery, especially loved the june bug and September 30 second. :) Thanks for the kind words.

Thanks as well.  Interesting on the June Bug. It creeps most people out and they don't think it's good art, so I'm especially glad you recognized that one.  I based it on a june bug that I dug up in an early spring thaw in April one year.  It was buried under the earth about 10", laying dormant waiting for the warmth to bring it back to life.  Once I brought it up it slowly started moving about.  I named it "April the June Bug", and the painting was sort of about a june bugs emergence from the grip of winter.
